MKG Mortgages looks after the personal information you share with us. This page says what we collect, why we use it, and who else sees it. It follows the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

MKG Mortgages. Micky Khaneka is an independent licensed mortgage broker (FSRA licence M21002608) working through FLOW Lending Group (FSRA brokerage #12864), powered by Mortgage Architects.

What we collect
The contact form sends us your name, email, phone number, and message.
When you apply, we collect the information needed to arrange a mortgage: income, employment, assets, debts, credit, and property details.
Google Analytics records basic website use: cookies, pages visited, device and browser, and an approximate location.
Why we use it
We use it to answer you, and to arrange, renew, and service mortgages, maintain the client relationship, and offer mortgage products and services that may interest you. We also use it to meet legal and regulatory requirements and to improve the website.
Consent
We collect personal information with your consent, and only what the purpose needs. You can withdraw consent. Withdrawing it may limit what we can do for you.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only as needed, and with your consent. That includes lenders, mortgage default insurers (CMHC, Sagen, and Canada Guaranty), credit bureaus and consumer reporting agencies (including Equifax and TransUnion), real estate appraisers, lawyers involved in the deal, and the mortgage application platforms Filogix and Velocity. It also includes FLOW Lending Group / Mortgage Architects and their affiliates.
Co-applicants' information may be shared between them. We may verify information with third parties. We never sell personal information.
Where the file is kept
The client file stays at Micky's office until the mortgage funds. After that, it may be transferred to FLOW Lending Group, and it may be stored electronically on FLOW Lending Group / Mortgage Architects systems. Only people who need it for a legitimate business purpose can access it.
Service providers
Vercel hosts the website. Resend delivers the contact-form email. Google Analytics measures site use. Some data may be stored or processed outside Canada, including the US, and may be subject to those countries' laws.
How long we keep it
Personal information is kept for seven (7) years after the later of the last loan or mortgage application made for the client, or the end of the term of any mortgage, and then securely destroyed.
Safeguards
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information.
Seeing and correcting your information
You can review your information and ask to correct what Micky or FLOW Lending Group holds. You can also request a copy of this policy. Contact Micky at the email or phone above.
If a concern stays unresolved, contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Emails and texts
With your consent, we send emails or texts about mortgage information, news, products, and updates. Unsubscribe at any time with the link in the message, or by contacting Micky.

Turn cookies off in your browser settings. The controls sit in the browser's privacy or site-settings menu.
